Job description

  • Provide installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for client IT environments, including networks, servers, PCs, and telephony systems.

  • Support both remote and on-site technical assistance for customers, including business trips as needed.

  • Assist with network-related projects, including implementation, upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.

  • Analyze client needs and provide practical technical recommendations based on business and system requirements.

  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members to support timely project delivery.

  • Troubleshoot network, server, and IT system issues and document solutions for future reference.

  • Support customer accounts by responding to technical inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist with pre-sales and post-sales technical projects, including solution planning and implementation.

  • Work with internal teams to support new products and services, including network security solutions.

  • Prepare installation records, configuration records, troubleshooting reports, project updates, proposals, quotations, and other technical documentation as needed.

  • Conduct product research and market trend research as requested by team leaders or management.

  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and communicate project status clearly to project leaders and management.

  • Support critical incidents through on-call coverage as needed; this is not a full shift-duty position.

2-3+ years of network or infrastructure experience preferred., * We are seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Network Engineer to join the Professional Services team of a global IT solutions provider.

  • This role supports corporate clients with network, server, telephony, and IT infrastructure solutions, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support.

  • While the original scope includes senior-level responsibilities, this opening is suitable for candidates with approximately 2-3+ years of engineering experience who have a strong foundation in networking and are eager to grow.

  • The ideal candidate is hands-on, client-focused, and able to work in both Japanese and English with customers, vendors, and internal teams., * Fluent Japanese and English communication skills required.

  • 2-3+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure support, systems engineering, or a related IT role preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of basic to intermediate network technologies, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.

  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or other major network vendor devices preferred.

  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Unix/Linux, virtualization, storage, and general IT infrastructure preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, or other major software/vendor platforms is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of security software and network security solutions is a plus.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and explain solutions clearly.

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members in a professional manner.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies and grow into broader professional services responsibilities., * IT Network hands-on: 2 years (Required)
