Data center Technician S3

• Install, set up, and decommission servers, racks, switches, and hardware.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshoot server issues.
• Replace faulty components and complete repairs with minimal downtime.
• Handle cabling, labeling, staging, and quality checks.
• Follow safety procedures and escalation processes.
• Complete tickets and tasks within SLA timelines.
• Create and update technical documentation and SOPs.
• Support deployment activities and daily data center operations.

We are seeking a Data Center Technician to support server and hardware operations in a data center environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hardware troubleshooting, cabling, and IT support experience, along with good attention to detail and teamwork skills., * 2+ years of data center technician experience.

• Strong server hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Windows Server, WinPE, and basic Linux.
• Knowledge of Layer 1 3 networking.
• Experience with diagnostics, firmware updates, and IPMI tools.
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash preferred).
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CompTIA A+, Server+, CCNA, or related certifications.
• Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with virtual machines and PXE environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and stand/walk for extended periods.
