Job description

The Application Engineer will be responsible for providing detailed sales and system application support to Product Platforms and the Engineering team. This role involves guiding Sales and Engineering teams on product design, developing customized solutions, and preparing design proposals and drawings., * Receive and review design specifications with Sales and/or customers

  • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Analyze product specifications to develop manufacturable designs
  • Support Engineering Change Orders and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality on design reviews
  • Provide engineering support to the manufacturing shop floor
  • Interpret regulatory codes such as UL, NEC, and NFPA

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical writing?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, or Engineering Technology, plus 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

  • Strong understanding of mobile electrification systems

  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and discussing technical requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate with Sales and Customers regarding applications
