Information Technology Technician (4120)

The IT Technician will support the agency’s computer systems by diagnosing computer problems, installing software, setting up new equipment, and performing tests on computer hardware, Security, Audio/Video, Networks and Communications systems., * Provide level 1 support for basic issues

• Install and configure basic hardware and software components to ensure usability
• Maintain and upkeep Computers and other devices such as Tablets, Cell Phones, Scanners and Printers
• Test, diagnose, repair, reconfigure, assemble, integrate, and test basic systems
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Repair or replace damaged hardware
• Prepare, install and configuring new equipment for deployment
• Provide support to users and act as the first point of contact for issue reporting
• Provide basic technical training for end users
• Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
• Managing technical documentation of work performed

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School diploma

• Reliable transportation; job requires 50% travel
• 2 years’ experience in computer systems and maintenance
• Experience with supporting Microsoft Windows 7-10
• Basic networking experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
