Job description

Join our dynamic team as a NOC Technician, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the stability and reliability of network operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems.
  • Ensure stability and performance of telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Respond to network alerts and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Perform routine network performance monitoring and checks.
  • Coordinate with field technicians and engineering teams.
  • Maintain outage records and quality control documentation.
  • Execute incident response activities for remote and cloud operations.
  • Manage ServiceNow Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
  • Conduct remote network surveillance and event response.
  • Triage and resolve incidents within established SLA timelines.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for complex troubleshooting.
  • Provide customer support through phone, email, and service portals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders during service-impacting incidents.
  • Manage and track vendor support tickets.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunications broadband network operations?, * Strong knowledge of IP networking concepts and protocols.

  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting IP connectivity and hardware-related issues.
  • Proficiency with VPN, BGP, MPLS, and SIP technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret network diagrams (Visio or similar tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to critical incidents.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or Telecommunications environments.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCST, or Cisco CCNA.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Experience monitoring and supporting AWS Cloud environments.
