Job description

The role of the Director of Information Technology (IT) is to lead, plan, organize, and direct the activities of the infrastructure, cloud, networking, telecom, collaboration, workplace services, operations, and service desk teams to deliver, maintain, and support critical information technology services. Will be responsible for demonstrating leadership that reflects Fayman’s culture and values, * Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics.

  • Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
  • Design and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
  • Identify and manage the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to senior leadership.
  • Manage the analysis of the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs and support through IT staff members.
  • Plan, develop and control the IT budget and report on expenditures.
  • Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Provide leadership in the oversight of all technology operations and evaluate them according to functionality, efficiency, and established goals.
  • Responsible for the GAP analysis in systems and ERP implementation and maximization.
  • Provides technical leadership. Guides, coaches, and develops IT team members.
  • Schedules, assigns, and provides oversight on IT projects.
  • Develops and supports EWTC team members’ growth with intentional and planned IT training in their areas of responsibility.
  • Plans and conducts performance appraisals for supervised staff.
  • Works closely with cross-functional leaders, demonstrating the ability to communicate, collaborate and influence across various stakeholder groups.
  • Serves as IT leadership through the organization.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a closely related field, preferred.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in the Information Technology field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • At least five (5) years in a managerial role overseeing an entire department.
  • Experience in direct management of a major IT operation
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development

Supervision Exercised

  • Supervises information technology staff. Reports to the Managing Director.
