Job description

  • Lead the design, build, configuration, testing, and support of EpicCare Inpatient Orders workflows.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Support Epic upgrades, workflow optimizations, and production issue resolution.
  • Perform unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Analyze workflows, troubleshoot application issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, build specifications, and training materials.
  • Provide application support, including on-call support as needed.
  • Work closely with end users, trainers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of healthcare IT experience.
  • Active Epic Certification in EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation.
  • 8+ years of hands-on Epic implementation, build, and support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical documentation workflows, patient flow, and inpatient operations.
  • Experience translating business requirements into Epic system solutions., * Experience leading teams or mentoring analysts/consultants.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with department build and Community Connect implementations.
