Job description

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Data Center Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical data center equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, combined with your hands-on approach, will help keep our data infrastructure running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and reliability., * Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on data center hardware including servers, networking equipment, power supplies, and cooling systems

  • Use hand tools and schematics to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters and low voltage testers to identify faults
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability
  • Follow safety protocols related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and low voltage wiring during all repair activities
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections thoroughly in logs and service records
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively

Requirements

Do you have experience in Server hardware support?, * Proven experience in field service or as a service technician within data centers or related environments

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools for equipment repair
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and networking systems
  • Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures for computer hardware, power supplies, cooling systems, and network equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid technical certifications related to electronics or data center operations are a plus
