Job description

The mission of the Corporate HR Generalist & HRIS Administrator is to serve as the operational cornerstone and technical guardian of our client’s progressive HR practice. In this role, you will lead, analyze, and optimize high-level HR operations and compliance field workflows, serving as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the company’s HRIS systems. You will act as the vital bridge between corporate HR strategy and multi-site operational goals, partnering directly with the COO to drive the reporting accuracy, technical precision, and advisory efficiencies that fast-track both organizational success and your own career progression.

Scope of Impact Technical & Operational Excellence

  • Partner directly with the COO on employee relations, compliance, policy administration, and corporate HR initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and SME for the organization’s HRIS systems (ADP preferred), maintaining employee records, organizational structures, and workforce data integrity.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning activities, while processing employee changes, compensation updates, and transfers.

Code & Compliance Integrity

  • Maintain advanced technical mastery across a variety of complex HR legal and compliance areas, supporting compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Handle investigations, corrective actions, performance management, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
  • Audit HRIS processes and data integrity across facilities to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and evolving labor regulations.

Project Control & Advisory Quality

  • Create high-level dashboards, workforce analytics, and headcount reports to support workforce planning and leadership decision-making.
  • Analyze workforce trends, turnover, recruiting activity, and labor metrics to provide data-driven recommendations to the COO and leadership team.
  • Partner with local HR Representatives to ensure company-wide adoption of HR policies, procedures, and system best practices.

Training & Multi-Site Representation

  • Manage, delegate, and oversee the training of HR Representatives and managers on HRIS functionality and best practices.
  • Travel to facilities (approx. 25%) to conduct onsite HRIS training, provide troubleshooting support, and reinforce standardized HR processes.
  • Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and documentation related to HR systems to drive organizational consistency.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have a valid Senior Professional in Human Resources certification?, Do you have experience in Delegation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, demonstrating a strong HR Generalist background.

  • HRIS Administration: Proven experience serving as an HRIS administrator and generating workforce analytics (ADP or similar enterprise HRIS platform preferred).
  • Multi-Site Experience: Experience supporting HR operations across multiple locations, warehouses, logistics, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strictly required.
  • Credentials: Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are highly preferred.
  • Travel & Logistics: Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel independently up to 25% of the time.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to remain stationary for extended periods working at a computer, move through corporate and operational environments, and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally., * Do you possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field?
  • Do you have 5 or more years of progressive experience working in Human Resources?
  • Do you have hands-on experience acting as a primary or core administrator for an HRIS (Human Resources Information System)?
  • Do you have specific experience using ADP as an HRIS?
  • Have you regularly created HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to drive business decisions?
  • Do you possess strong, advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data manipulation for reporting)?
  • Do you have experience providing HR support across multiple sites or locations?
  • This role requires traveling to various facilities approximately 25% of the time to provide onsite training and support. Are you willing and able to meet this travel requirement?
