Job description

This role divides its time across four core areas: HR generalist support, HRIS administration, workforce reporting, and process standardization across multiple facilities.

On the generalist side, you will partner with the COO on employee relations, compliance, policy administration, and HR initiatives. You will assist with investigations, corrective actions, and performance management, and will support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning. Leave administration, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims will also fall within your scope, along with maintaining HR policies, procedures, employee documentation, and standard operating procedures.

As the company’s primary HRIS administrator and subject matter expert, you will maintain employee records, organizational structures, and workforce data integrity across all locations. You will process employee changes, compensation updates, transfers, and organizational updates, and serve as the escalation point for HRIS questions and issues. You will train HR Representatives and managers on system functionality, conduct onsite system support visits, and audit data integrity and process consistency across facilities. Developing training materials, user guides, and SOPs related to HR systems and processes is also part of this scope.

On the reporting and analytics side, you will build dashboards and reports to support workforce planning and leadership decisions, analyze turnover, headcount, recruiting activity, and labor metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to the COO and leadership team.

Across all four areas, you will identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and system enhancements, support federal, state, and local employment law compliance, and assist with HR audits and record retention requirements.
