Job description
This role is hands-on and varied. You’ll be responsible not only for technical repairs, but also for assisting with customer service, ticketing, and payments. We’re looking for someone with strong technical ability, great attention to detail, and excellent communication skills., Technical Repairs
Perform micro-soldering and board-level repairs on PCs, laptops, and gaming consoles.
Replace HDMI ports and other connectors on consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo) and laptops.
Diagnose faults on gaming PCs and motherboards, including voltage and component failures.
Carry out precision repairs on ports, chips, capacitors, and related components.
Advise on required parts and complete repairs to a high standard.
Customer & Admin Duties
Use the CRM system to update tickets, log repairs, and track progress.
Take payments in person and over the phone.
Answer customer calls and provide professional support.
Meet and greet customers at reception.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Soldering?, Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience with micro-soldering and board-level repair.
Ability to replace HDMI ports and similar connectors.
Strong troubleshooting skills for gaming PCs and laptops.
Confident with voltage testing, diagnostics, and electronic components.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable handling payments and using CRM/ticketing systems.
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience with BIOS flashing, chip reballing, or BGA rework.
Previous experience in a computer repair shop or electronics lab.
Interest in gaming PCs and custom hardware.
Driving licence for occasional call-outs., * Micro-Soldering: 2 years (required)
