Job description

  • Stay informed on latest consumer electronic trends.
  • Clean and Maintain refurbishing station before, during, and after shift.
  • Ability to take devices apart, perform minor repairs, and salvage usable pieces for either use or resale.
  • Ability to successfully determine if non functioning/broken devices have value to salvage parts or to recycle as is.
  • Knowledge to create listings for any excess parts we have on hand that we will not use and manage those listings in addition to the organization of the parts for sale.
  • Ability to follow step by step procedures with sense of urgency and multitasking skills.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware faults in desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Utilise hand tools and schematics to disassemble, repair, and reassemble computer components efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware and networking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to computer networking, connectivity, and equipment repair.
  • Conduct system upgrades, component replacements, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory levels.
  • Assist with the installation of new hardware and network configurations as required.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Schematics?, * Proven experience or strong knowledge of computer & phone/tablets hardware repair and maintenance.

  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
  • Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ability to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with good communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with computer systems, phones/tablets, hardware components, or in a related technical role is desirable but not essential. This position offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about technology and dedicated to delivering high-quality repair services.
