Job description

Under the direction of the Hospital Site Manager, Information Technology Supervisor II, within the Department of State Hospitals, the Information Technology Specialist I (IT Specialist I) is responsible for solutions support and improvement with an emphasis on enterprise solutions architecture and interdisciplinary coordination. The primary duties of the IT Specialist I lie within, Client Services, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Information Security Engineering domains of the IT Specialist I classification Working Conditions

  • This position reports to DSH-Metropolitan in Los Angeles County. A hybrid Telework schedule, consistent with the State of California’s in-office requirement, may be considered with prior approval from management.
  • Travel is required up to 10% of the time throughout California as needed, with prior notice., The following items are required to be submitted with your application. Applicants who do not submit the required items timely may not be considered for this job:

SROA and Surplus candidates are given priority; therefore, individuals with other eligibility may be considered in the event no SROA or Surplus candidates apply.
