Monitor system cycles, scheduled jobs, and overnight processes to ensure everything runs successfully

Use Control-M:
-
Monitor job runs
-
Identify failures or delays
-
Escalate issues when jobs fail or alerts trigger
-
Respond to internal IT tickets, which may range from very few to high volume depending on the night
-
Troubleshoot basic scheduling or operational issues and route more complex problems to the appropriate teams
-
Monitor mainframe and infrastructure alerts, escalating as needed
-
Perform operational tasks such as:
-
Printing and handling scheduled output
-
Pulling and managing printers or print jobs
-
Running and organizing cabling within the computer room
-
Support the server and application teams with basic operational tasks and incident response
-
Make outbound calls to vendors or service providers when issues require external support
-
Document issues, actions taken, and hand-off notes for the incoming shift
Requirements
-
Experience supporting a 365, 24/7 help desk environment
-
HS Diploma, GED, or Similar
-
Comfortable managing and working within ticketing systems
-
Team-oriented, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on more
-
Clear, confident communicator who takes ownership and gets things done
Proven ability to handle tickets while staying calm and effective under pressure Service Now Experience
