IT Asset Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Supervisor to lead our hardware asset management program. This role will be responsible for lifecycle management of IT endpoint computing assets and peripherals, ensuring that assets are effectively tracked, deployed, compliant, and aligned with organizational needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, technology-savvy, and comfortable working with IT, procurement, and project teams to deliver accurate inventory, timely deployment, and effective disposition of IT assets., * Own the endpoint hardware asset lifecycle from procurement awareness, receipt, deployment preparation, deployment execution, RMA, maintenance, retirement, and disposition.

• Partner with the client Asset Manager for awareness and development of enterprise grade client policies, procurement awareness, refresh schedules, etc.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicable IT hardware assets in the CMDB/ITAM system.
• Lead monthly audits and reconciliation of physical assets vs. system records.
• Supervise warehouse activities related to physical security, asset storage, distribution, maintenance, and disposition.
• Develop and enforce strict and detailed asset management policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, warranty, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate reports and dashboards on hardware inventory, lifecycle status, costs, and trends for leadership.
• Support incident, request, and change processes by ensuring asset data is reliable and integrated with ITSM workflows.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and automation in asset management.

Do you have experience in Hardware management?, * 2+ years of experience in IT asset management leadership (hardware focus).

• Strong knowledge of IT endpoint hardware lifecycle management.
• Experience with asset management and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM/Intune, Absolute, etc.).
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with IT, finance, and project teams.
• Ability to commonly lift IT assets up to 50 pounds, and occasional assistance with a team to move heavier assets.
• IAITAM certifications (CHAMP, CSAM, CITAD) or equivalent.
• ITIL V3+ and familiarity with ITIL best practice.
• Experience developing asset policies, SOPs, and audit programs.
• Strong reporting skills using Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools., * IT endpoint hardware lifecycle management: 2 years (Required)
• IT asset management : 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• IAITAM certifications (CHAMP, CSAM, CITAD) or equivalent (Required)

$65,000 - $75,000 a year - Full-time, Contract, * Commonly travel to primary client sites (10-20m away), and occasional travel to secondary locations.

• Occasional weekend project work.
• 24/7 warehouse security response.
