Quality Assurance Technician- Temporary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support food safety and quality programs in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, audits, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet food safety and quality standards., * Perform pre-operational and food safety inspections

• Conduct environmental and allergen swabbing
• Verify lot numbers, labels, date codes, weights, and production records
• Monitor critical control points including metal detection, temperatures, and pH levels
• Perform in-process and finished product quality checks
• Document findings and maintain accurate quality records
• Conduct GMP and food safety audits throughout the facility
• Communicate quality concerns to production and management teams
• Enter data into quality systems and databases

Do you have experience in Computer operation?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Food manufacturing, restaurant, or quality assurance experience preferred

• Associate degree in a science-related field accepted in lieu of experience
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, and manufacturing environments
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed

Experience with HACCP, SQF, food safety programs, or quality systems is a plus.
