Job description

As ourIT Support Technician, you’ll be part of a small but dynamic IT team providing first-line support to nurseries and central support colleagues via our helpdesk. You’ll also help maintain and improve our IT infrastructure, support project delivery, and ensure our systems run smoothly and efficiently as we scale.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same - from troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues to installing new equipment, liaising with suppliers, and supporting the rollout of new technologies. What You’ll Be Doing, Assisting in IT projects alongside the ICT Director and senior technician

We’re looking for someone who’s bothtechnical and personable, with a genuine passion for IT and problem-solving. You’ll be a proactive team player, able to adapt quickly and deliver great service.

You’ll ideally have:

-

A degree (or equivalent) in a computing-related subject

-

Previous experience in an IT support environment

-

Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office, Exchange and networking protocols

-

Understanding of VPN, Terminal Services, SQL Server and legacy systems

-

Experience with multi-site telecoms and managing 3rd party suppliers

-

Strong troubleshooting, communication and project delivery skills

-

A full driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally Why Join Us?
