• Process medical record release requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Enter and manage request information using ROI software
• Use Epic and other healthcare systems to review and process documentation
• Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations
• Organize records and documents to complete the ROI process
• Help resolve HIPAA-related release issues
• Follow established procedures to maintain confidentiality and compliance
• Provide professional customer service by phone, email, or other communication channels
• Attend required training and support department needs as assigned

• Epic experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• At least 2 years of medical records experience
• At least 2 years of clerical or office experience
• Healthcare setting experience preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations related to Protected Health Information preferred
• RHIT certification preferred
• Proficiency with computers, scanners, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
