Job description
- Website Design & UX/UI: Conceptualize creative ideas, design page layouts, and create wireframes. Maintain and organize design systems.
- Client Collaboration: Lead clients through prototype walk-throughs and discuss design strategies in live demo meetings.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions aligned with Agile methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Work: Regularly meet with in-house developers to guarantee proper execution and strict adherence to ADA compliance.
- Creative Asset Production: Design email marketing, banner ads, motion graphics and reels, and social media posts. Prepare production-ready graphics, including SVGs/vectors, imagery, and icon fonts.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough design-focused production for QA.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WCAG?, * Essential: Expert visual design skills and the ability to communicate clearly when talking about each UI design.
- Task Management: Experience working on web development teams utilizing tools like Jira and/or Trello for project management, and FunctionFox for time management.
- Software: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator is critical.
- Prototyping: We use Figma for all design concepting. Candidates will not be considered without at least 3 years of experience with Figma.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices in web accessibility to ensure inclusive digital experiences.
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with motion graphics applications and creating animated videos and reels is a really nice-to-have. Familiarity with AI design tools such as Figma Make.
