Swiss Programmer

• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for Swiss-type machines
• Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines (Star preferred)
• Work with CNC lathe and milling operations as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Apply GD&T standards to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Use CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and others)
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM)
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot machining issues
• Maintain documentation for programs, setups, and production runs
• Follow all safety and quality standards

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Star Swiss programming and CNC Swiss machine setup, with the ability to produce high-precision components according to strict specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment., * Minimum 5 years of Star Swiss programming experience (required)

• Minimum 5 years of CNC Swiss machine experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and CAM programming
• Experience with tooling setup and optimization
• Ability to read blueprints and work with tight tolerances
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of EDM processes is a plus
• CATIA experience is a plus
• Ability to commute or relocate to Hawthorne, CA 90250 (required)
