We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Swiss CNC Programmer/Setup to join our swing shift manufacturing team. This is an opportunity to work in a high-performance environment where programmers are trusted with process ownership, continuous improvement, and the development of precision manufacturing solutions for complex spinal implants and instruments.

If you are someone who can take a print, develop a process, optimize it, and drive it into production with minimal oversight, we want to hear from you.

Schedule

  • Swing Shift: Monday - Thursday
  • 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
  • $1.00/hour shift differential

What You’ll Do

  • Develop complete machining processes from blueprint to production
  • Create and optimize CNC programs using GibbsCAM and manual G-code programming
  • Select tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies for precision medical components
  • Troubleshoot machining and process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
  • Perform first-run inspections and support process validation activities
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to support new product introduction and ongoing production
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, process stability, quality, and productivity
  • Train and support operators on new or revised processes
  • Maintain process documentation including setup sheets, tooling documentation, and work instructions

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tooling?, * Ability to independently develop machining processes from engineering drawings

  • Strong experience programming and setting up Swiss CNC machines
  • Experience with Citizen and/or Tsugami Swiss machines preferred
  • Proficiency with GibbsCAM and manual G-code programming
  • Strong understanding of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Experience machining titanium, stainless steel, cobalt chrome, and other difficult materials
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency, * 3+ years of Swiss CNC programming/setup experience
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred
  • Experience manufacturing spinal implants or surgical instruments is a plus
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is beneficial

Precision Matters

At Innovasis, precision is critical. Our components commonly hold tolerances of ±.002”, with some features requiring tolerances as tight as +.0005”/-.0000”. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in developing stable, repeatable, high-quality machining processes.
