Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Network Cabling Technician and become a vital part of building and maintaining robust telecommunications and data infrastructure. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing network cabling systems that power modern businesses. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity across various environments, from data centers to commercial offices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, develop your skills in fiber splicing, Ethernet wiring, and telecommunication systems, and deliver exceptional service to clients., * Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems including Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cables following schematics and industry standards such as NEC.

  • Perform fiber splicing and connectorization to ensure high-quality data transmission.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot and repair network infrastructure.
  • Conduct field service visits to client sites for network installation, upgrades, and maintenance of Ethernet networks, Cisco routers, Juniper equipment, VoIP systems, and telephony hardware.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and network layouts to accurately execute installations.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of CCTV systems, security cameras, access control systems, and other telecommunication equipment.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide excellent service by explaining system functions, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction during project completion.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Telecommunication?, * Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar field service role within telecommunications or networking environments.

  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and low voltage electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with fiber splicing techniques and equipment repair for network hardware.
  • Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, NEC standards for low voltage wiring, and telecommunication protocols such as VoIP and Avaya systems.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (crimpers, wire strippers), power tools (drills), testing devices (ohmmeters), and computer hardware diagnostics.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Electrical experience or certifications related to telecommunication wiring is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for site visits. Join us in powering the future of connectivity!
