ServiceNow HAM Pro Implementation Lead

Job Title: ServiceNow HAM Pro Implementation Lead Location: Coventry, UK (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite) Day Rate: £400 - £425 (Inside IR35) Job Type: 3 Month rolling contract

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HAM Pro Implementation Lead to support the rollout and optimisation of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro) across a large enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on delivery-focused contract requiring deep expertise in HAM Pro and the wider ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, structuring and leading the implementation approach, ensuring best-practice adoption and successful integration with existing asset management and discovery processes.

The role requires someone who can combine strong technical knowledge with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, acting as a trusted expert while remaining actively involved in the practical delivery and implementation activities.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow HAM Pro.
• Define and document a best-practice implementation strategy and roadmap.
• Break down programme activities into clear workstreams and deliverables.
• Identify dependencies and required engagement from wider business functions.
• Build realistic delivery plans, timelines and implementation milestones.
• Design and oversee HAM Pro configuration aligned to business requirements.
• Ensure effective integration between HAM Pro and Discovery and related tooling.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement required platform configurations.
• Support data quality, asset life cycle and governance processes.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Present, articulate and defend implementation recommendations and delivery approaches.
• Provide guidance on best practice across Hardware Asset Management and ServiceNow platform capabilities.

Required Skills/Experience The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro).
• Proven track record delivering HAM Pro implementations from planning through to deployment.

• Excellent understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, including:

• CMDB
• Core platform tables
• Data relationships
• Platform modules and integrations

Experience developing implementation roadmaps and delivery plans.

Strong understanding of:

• Hardware Asset Management
• Contracts Management
• Licensing Management
• Asset Governance

Experience integrating HAM Pro with Discovery and other asset discovery tools.

Ability to identify cross-functional dependencies and coordinate involvement from wider business teams.

Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Ability to confidently challenge, influence and defend technical approaches.

Desirable Skills/Experience Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• ServiceNow certifications relating to HAM Pro or ITAM.
• Experience within large-scale enterprise ServiceNow environments.
• Exposure to SAM Pro, ITSM or broader IT Asset Management programmes.
• Experience working within complex transformation or platform modernisation initiatives.
