Job description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Ecommerce Assistant to support the day-to-day running and optimisation of our online store. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment and has a genuine interest in fashion, digital retail and all things Shopify., * Website Management

  • Edit and maintain product listings, collections, and on-site content including user generated imagery
  • Ensure all meta product information is accurate and optimised
  • SEO & GEO Optimisation
  • Support ongoing SEO strategy including keyword implementation and content updates
  • Working on loyalty programs, events, POS, international expansion stores
  • Assist with geo-targeted content and international site optimisation
  • Work closely with ads team to ensure imagery is aligned across all platforms
  • Work with marketing and CRM to ensure all landing pages are set up correctly
  • Brand Protection
  • Monitor and report on counterfeit products, unauthorised sellers, and brand misuse
  • Support actions to protect Blakely’s brand integrity across digital channels
  • Creative & Content Support
  • Basic image editing for ecommerce (cropping, resizing, optimisation)
  • Assist with light design tasks such as banners, landing pages, and campaign assets
  • Site Performance & Merchandising
  • Support product merchandising and on-site optimisation to improve conversion by updating navigation and making data driven suggestions
  • Assist with testing and improving user experience across the website

Requirements

Do you have experience in Shopify?, * Minimum 2 year’s experience within a similar role in an ecommerce Shopify led brand

  • Working knowledge of Shopify architecture and apps including flows and automations
  • AI experience
  • Understanding of SEO and GEO principles
  • Experience with image editing tools (e.g. Photoshop or similar)
  • Experience with Klaviyo, loyalty programs and eCommerce technologies
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Some HTML and CSS knowledge a bonus but not essential
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve
