Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Production Support Java Engineer with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to support mission-critical applications in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing production systems, resolving high-severity incidents within strict SLAs, and leading root cause analysis to ensure long-term stability. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the flexibility to work in a shift-based support model., * A bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution is required. In lieu of formal education, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered for each year of education.

  • Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC, or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel to project locations.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without the need for employer-sponsored visa support. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
  • A minimum of 4 years of Information Technology experience is required.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace in production and L2/L3 support environments, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining Splunk and Dynatrace dashboards is preferred., * Hands-on experience using Dynatrace and Splunk for application performance monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting in production environments
  • Strong experience across relational and NoSQL database platforms, including Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB, in production environments
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and production issue resolution
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in a production environment
  • Strong experience with Grafana and SiteScope for system and infrastructure monitoring, combined with expertise in managing CRON-based batch and scheduled jobs in production environments
  • Familiarity with Autosys (preferred)
  • Ability to read and analyze Java code for troubleshooting
  • Experience performing root cause analysis
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow
  • Hands-on experience with BMC Remedy
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes within enterprise support environments
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
