Job description

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an enterprise ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will be responsible for platform operations, configuration, development, upgrades, and performance optimization to ensure a reliable and scalable ServiceNow environment.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and project teams to support platform stability, enhance functionality, and deliver ServiceNow solutions that align with organizational objectives and operational needs.

Duties:

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Perform daily platform monitoring and support activities, including scheduled jobs, integrations, data loads, and system health checks.
  • Manage user access, roles, groups, and platform security configurations.
  • Support the health and maintenance of the CMDB, Service Catalog, workflows, and related platform components.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and releases.
  • Conduct impact assessments, testing, validation, and post-upgrade activities to ensure successful deployments.
  • Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer workflows, and platform configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow incidents, defects, and performance issues.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support operational and leadership reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to implement platform enhancements and support ongoing development initiatives.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
  • Support leadership and stakeholders by communicating technical concepts and platform capabilities clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience administering and developing on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow administration, configuration, and development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and platform automation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing ServiceNow platform upgrades and release activities.
  • Experience troubleshooting platform issues and supporting production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and related tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow Agile Development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work onsite four days per week in Columbus, Ohio., * Experience supporting state, local, or federal government organizations.
  • Experience working in highly regulated or secure cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v4 frameworks and IT Service Management best practices.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ServiceNow Micro-Certifications related to platform administration or upgrade management.
