Director of IT

Adheres to all department and organizational customer service standards. IT Director, and as such is responsible for strategic direction related to Hospital and Clinic Information systems, Network Infrastructure, IS Customer Satisfaction, and End User Education. Responsible for the effective management of all IS-Related projects. Develops IS Operating and Capital Budgets and adheres to approved budgets.

The Director of Information Technology provides strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for the organization#s Information Systems department. This role is responsible for the planning, implementation, governance, security, and optimization of technology systems supporting clinical, financial, and operational functions. The Director ensures alignment of technology initiatives with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and financial sustainability while maintaining system reliability, security, and performance. Associate, bachelor#s or master#s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, business,#or#related field, and/or related experience in information technology as stated below. High school diploma or GED also required. # Minimum Qualifications (one of the following): Associate degree in information technology, healthcare administration, business, or related field + 13 years# progressive experience in information technology Bachelor#s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, business, or related field +11 years# progressive experience in information technology Master#s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, business, or related field + 9 years progressive experience in information technology 15 years# progressive experience in IT/information systems with demonstrated leadership qualities and responsibilities AND Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment #
