Job description

As a Back office Client Team Member you will be assigned the task of 3rd line application/OS support.

You must be able to analyze and troubleshoot applications/OS problems and propose solutions (for problems that the helpdesk is escalating).

You will be participating in the End-User-Device team that does Scripting, Packaging & distribution of 'Elia developed' and Commercial Software on Wintel Platform

In case of issues with applications or for instance licensing problems, you will have contact with an external company to discuss technical issues/solutions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Language: Able to speak, read and write well in English and French or Dutch. Knowledge of the German language is a great plus to communicate with our German colleague, Client is looking for a Workstation-Engineer Service with 3rd line Client support experience. Packaging and Scripting skills is a plus, * You are able to speak, read and write well in English and French or Dutch.   • Excellent troubleshooting skills is very important. Be able to analyze in dept problems on Client-OS- and/or Application-level.
  • +- 5 years of experience in a comparable environment and similar rol. (10 year recommended)
  • Expert in Windows 10/11 in a protected (high secure) Client/Server network environment.
  • Good technical knowledge of Microsoft Office and common used company software.
  • Good technical client hardware knowledge. (desktop, laptop, smartphone, printers and other peripherals).
  • Experience with Controlled Software Distribution in general (SCCM is a plus).

Nice to have's

  • Knowledge of Active directory / Group Policies is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft WINPE, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and Windows Automated Installation Kit for Windows is a plus.
  • Intune knowledge/experience.
  • Scripting an unattended silent software installation (creating / maintaining and analyzing). Be able to read: Visual Basic Scripting, DOS Batch Scripting and PowerShell
  • Packaging skills and experience in silent setups, software vendor customization tools, …
