Job description
As a Specialist Information Solutions (m/f/d), you are the central point of contact for complex IT challenges in the laboratory infrastructure. Your main task is to ensure that our customers' networks and systems function smoothly. Your main tasks are:
- You analyze and resolve malfunctions in our Roche Information Solutions products - either via remote maintenance (Remote Service) or by simulating customer environments in our own laboratory.
- You ensure that our customers' networks function. Troubleshooting firewalls, network components, and remote maintenance at the customer's site are your daily business.
- You process customer and employee inquiries (by phone and in writing) and manage complaints (PRI) in close coordination with global 3rd Level Support.
- You support product updates, upgrades, and patches, ensure seamless documentation of all solutions in the CRM system, and occasionally assist with customer and employee training.
- You support and implement optimizations in support as well as in the lifecycle of Roche Information Solutions products and actively participate in improvement initiatives.
Requirements
In addition to a completed degree in computer science, medical technology, vocational training as an IT specialist, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience, you bring sound knowledge in the areas of IT networks, operating systems (e.g., Windows), and ideally databases (e.g., SQL). The following points complete your profile:
- Experience in IT support or in the implementation of software solutions, preferably in the medical or laboratory technology environment, is a great advantage.
- You communicate confidently and solution-oriented, even in complex situations, and enjoy direct customer contact.
- You work structured, independently, and are a true team player who is happy to share knowledge.
- You are fluent in Dutch and German. You also communicate confidently in English (min. B1/B2).
