Job description
For an international company in the global agribusiness market in Basel we are looking for a Digital Trade Compliance Analyst (f/m/d) - temporary position (80-100%), min. 2 years, The Digital Trade Compliance Analyst supports the client's global trade operations by managing customs classification, controlled substances regulations, and chemical trade controls while leveraging digital systems and data analytics to ensure regulatory compliance across international markets.
- Support of HS classification management of chemical products
- Support of Controlled Substance management
- Work with internal databases and effectively use available IT tools to analyze data and create reports
- Support implementation of digital trade compliance tools, automation and artificial intelligence
- Interact with different geographical and cross-functional teams
- Support internal projects
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Knowledge of chemical structures and language of chemical nomenclature (e.g., Bachelor's in chemistry) is a must
- Proficiency in Excel and database management
- Fluency in English is essential
Preferred :
- Understanding of World Customs Organization's classification principles (HS/HTS system)
- Basic programming skills and ability to develop basic scripts and automation tools to streamline compliance processes
- Experience in agrochemical, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry
- German language skills are very welcome
