Job description
- Serve as the primary escalation point for L1 incidents and manage complex incident resolution through to closure
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced desktop and laptop issues including operating system and driver problems
- Administer and support Active Directory and Azure directory services, including account management and group policies
- Manage endpoint configuration and deployment using SCCM, Intune, or equivalent tools
- Perform server level tasks and assist with virtual machine management and basic server troubleshooting
- Support network troubleshooting for wired and wireless connectivity and coordinate with networking teams for complex issues
- Assist with backup and restore operations and coordinate server reboots and maintenance windows
- Oversee desktop imaging, operating system and application patching and compliance checks
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to improve team effectiveness
- Collaborate with application owners and infrastructure teams for seamless service delivery and project activities
- Mentor and provide guidance to L1 engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in desktop and infrastructure support
Contract duration: 12 months initial (with the possibility to extend up to three years based on performance)
Language: Spanish (C1 min B2) and English (B2 min B1)
Prerequisite: Must have the legal right to work in Spain full time, * Strong expertise in Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments and troubleshooting methodologies
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and group policy management
- Proficiency in endpoint management platforms such as SCCM and Intune
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy for incident and change management
- Working knowledge of virtualization platforms and basic server administration
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP IP, DNS, DHCP and switch management
- Scripting skills for automation tasks using PowerShell or similar tools are desirable
- Experience with security patching, configuration compliance and vulnerability remediation, * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
- Strong documentation skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate technical records
