Gameplay Designer New

Your Role

As a Gameplay Designer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing high-quality features for a AAA open world game. You will be ensuring your features are engaging, immersive and aligned with the game's creative vision. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, prototyping, tweaking while collaborating with other disciplines.

Responsibilities:

1. Design Gameplay features and game mechanics aligned with the creative and game directions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement your assigned features.
3. Develop in-engine prototypes and iterate based on your leadership's feedback.
4. Adapt to technical, production and IPs constraints, reworking your design when needed.
5. Participate in finding solutions with your leadership and our partners.
6. Create and maintain design documentation that will help other disciplines to develop and enhance your features.
7. Ensure timely and high-quality execution of your feature deliverables, meeting project milestones.

• Proven experience as a Technical or Gameplay Designer on shipped AAA or AA titles (First Person Camera is a plus).
• Relevant portfolio showcasing game design work, including examples of prototypes, scripting, and gameplay integration.
• Deep understanding of gameplay principles, game systems and user interfaces design.
• Proficiency with Scripting (Blueprint or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, iterative environment.
• Fluency in English (French is a plus).
