Job description

As Manager IT Product Enteprise, you will lead the end-to-end IT delivery for the B2B products and services.

Your career shows a large exposure within IT. Preferable in Telco, but your experience can be in other industries. You have been a Program Manager, Line Manager or Demand/Delivery Manager for at least 10-15 years. You have hands-on experience managing large teams and large IT delivery units towards B2C or B2B products and services.

You have done the entire deal, all with a smile and clear passion for IT, from security to data, HR, outsourcing, selection of suppliers and managing budgets. You have had impact in the creation of departmental plans, resource control and policy making. Thereby you have been pivotal in realizing the goals of an IT department, and also contributed to functional or departmental strategies.

You are by nature an agile coach, and recognize that your personal success is reached by making your team successful and not the other way around. You are strategic by nature, empathic and have a soft spot for human intellect in a setting driven by organizational targets and IT innovations. Characteristically, you have an entrepreneurial mindset. When you see a possible solution or a better way of working, you dare to initiate. When times are tough, you stand behind your decisions and in front of your team. You protect the quality and performance of your production lines and invest in your team members.

You understand the needs and ambitions of our B2B organization, and know how IT can co-own their targets. When B2B is successful, you and your team experience the same vibe. You have experience in selecting and working with external partners, and you know how this mix contributes to our success. You have excellent stakeholder management skills and are at ease interacting with Technology and Commercial leadership teams, teaming up with the B2B value stream leads.

Your new team will consists of Product Leads, Subject Matter Experts and Solution analysts,

Goals & Results:

  • Single accountable senior manager for business segment [B2B) for defining, delivering and supporting IT applications and infrastructure landscape.

  • Work with CIO and IT Management Team to create overarching IT strategy and delivery plans, optimizing delivered value versus incurred costs.

  • Drive performance governance of delivery units and suppliers involved.

  • Foster collaboration across IT Delivery teams to apply best practices, create synergies and share improvements.

  • Increase alignment between IT and business segment and deliver solutions with measurable business benefits.

  • Accelerate way in which we bring solutions to market by leveraging innovative technologies. Have a structural way of experimenting and cutting solutions that do not work.

  • Improve workforce by attracting & guiding young talent, improving mix internal versus external, selective insourcing, guiding IT organization through change in behavior and mindset.

  • Improve internal skills & expertise through training to facilitate demand prioritization towards business and steer vendors

  • Steer IT organization on business relevant KPIs as well as IT goals.

Your team

The IT product Enterprise team, consisting of 9 internal people, and our external staff and partners organized in 10-15 DevOps teams. The structure IT organization is based on the matrix product versus platform. This team will work very closely together with our Enterprise cluster, supporting our full product portfolio across business customer segments., At Odido we learn every day. All of us. Requirements

Some things you cannot learn at university, but you possess them by nature. Your core personality is empathic, decisive, humorous, people focused, authentic, and honest. You know the difference between managing and coaching, and understand when to apply which. You embrace challenges and are eager to grow. These are traits we are looking for not only in managerial positions, but in every member on every level!

  • Master Degree within Technology, Business Admin, or Business Information Management.

  • More than 10 years of experience in Software Development, being a Line Manager, Delivery/Demand Manager and/or Program Manager

  • The job requires an in-depth understanding of how own part of the department contributes to IT and B2B and will manage activities according to this.

  • Intimate knowledge of the full development life-cycle of IT projects, from business requirements to functional design, technical design, programming, testing, operational hand-over, operational maintenance and support to final product phase-out; configuration and/or analysis and design.

  • A minimum of 10 years of management experience. Experience with setting up and executing a departmental strategy. The ability to bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and the software implementation teams, through excellent communication skills and intimate knowledge of the mobile & fixed operator business. Knowledge of architecture concepts. Expert knowledge on several systems in the domain. Experience in setting and executing department strategy. Experience in quality management.

  • You live in the Netherlands, preferably within 30 KM from The Hague - This role requires minimum 3 days in the office, preferably 4 as we like you to be present when your team is in the Office.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in the telecommunications sector, ideally within the B2B or Enterprise domain enabling you to quickly understand our customer landscape, business models, and the operational realities of a modern telco.
