Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior IT Technician to join an Education organisation. This role will involve assisting internal users on their IT issues, ranging across their Microsoft and Application suite. You'll be assisting users via the telephone, emails and tickets, ensuring you are working to agreed SLAs., * Acting as the first point of contact for all IT Support queries

  • Assisting users remotely or face to face, offering deskside support when needed.
  • Working closely and acting as a leader for the Juniour Techncian ensuring tickets are resolved where needed.
  • Researching and documenting solutions to problems on the companies knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems (10/11)
  • Experience with Office365 applications and environment
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Windows Server
  • Basic networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
