Selenium Java Testing/Lead Consultant Specialist/Hyderabad/Wholesale IT: 0000JLC8

• Lead and accountable for software testing for Billing and to Identify opportunities to improve delivery and oversee the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions.

• Identify the most appropriate Technology solutions, liaise with other engineers, architects and business stakeholders, to understand and drive the testing team towards 0 defect goal.

• Promote a positive work culture based on respect for people, integrity of actions, creativity and collaboration leading to increased productivity.

• Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.

• Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.

• Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end-to-end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge.

• Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service and keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools and technologies.

• Manage the reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to committees and make recommendations to influence decision making to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization.

• 12-15 years proven experience as an Automated Tester, with a focus on designing and implementing automated testing solutions.
• Leadership qualities with ability to lead and mentor testing team.
• Proficient in programming language commonly used in test automation, such as Java and Python.
• Strong understanding of Testing methodologies, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with industry-standard testing tools ad frameworks (eg. Selenium, Junit, TestNG, Appium).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong skills and experience in leadership, people management and stakeholder management, technology strategy and planning.
• Should have good communication skills, capable to analyze the requirement in detail and identify the gaps if any at initial stage and highlight it.
• Perform Gap Analysis between the current process and desired state, manage scope changes and assess the impact of the change.
