Job description

  • As a Senior Manager, Data Migration Lead in Delivery Services, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Lead and manage data migration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the data migration practice.

Requirements

  • Extensive and Intricate years practical experience in Oracle ERP implementation programmes
  • Proven experience in leading and delivering complex data migration projects
  • Experience leading and developing a team of people
  • Client facing experience with a demonstrated ability to appropriately engage with stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge of data migration tools and techniques including data extraction, manipulation, and reporting from ERP
  • Strong data analysis and analytical skills including proven ability to translate raw data into meaningful insights for client stakeholders, and understand business processes to enable you to present findings clearly and concisely
  • Experience with various data migration methodologies (e.g., ETL, data warehousing)
  • Proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL
  • Understanding of Oracle ERP modules (Financials or Supply Chain) and their underlying database structures
  • Practical understanding of at least one delivery methodologies (e.g. Activate, Waterfall, Agile, etc).
  • Practical experience and understanding of at least a few phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel when required
  • UK Government Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain Security Clearance

Desirables:

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
  • Understanding and practical experience of methodologies like PRINCE2, Agile, or Waterfall for planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder management
  • Experience in a consulting environment
  • Oracle certifications, data management certifications or equivalent
