IT Technical Analyst

The Role:

As a Technical Analyst, you will play a key part in delivering infrastructure projects and enhancing the organisation's IT security and configuration standards. You will act as a third line escalation point, collaborating closely with DevOps, Security and Application teams to ensure smooth operations across systems and networks.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting enhancements to on premises infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Working with Entra ID and identity-based security solutions
• Participating in large scale infrastructure rollouts such as email migrations and centralisation projects
• Managing identity and access controls across systems and cloud platforms
• Evaluating infrastructure configuration and recommending best practices
• Maintaining detailed documentation of systems and procedures
• Supporting software deployments and integrations across hybrid environments
• Performing system upgrades, patches and maintenance to ensure stability and security
• Collaborating with external vendors and service providers
• Maintaining IT security through proactive monitoring and incident response

• You will bring a solid background in IT infrastructure and a strong understanding of both on premises and cloud technologies.
• A confident communicator, comfortable working independently and across teams in a complex environment.

Essential skills and experience:

• Proven experience in an IT infrastructure or technical support role
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and Entra ID
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously

Desirable skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and hybrid setups)
• Knowledge of storage and backup solutions
• Awareness of IT security best practices
