Job description

As part of the Application Support team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth deployment and optimisation of in-house applications used by both internal stakeholders and external clients. Your work will involve:

  • Testing, rolling out and supporting new and updated systems developed internally.
  • Creating clear and user-friendly documentation and guides.
  • Managing application control parameters and ensuring reliable day-to-day operation.
  • Logging and tracking bugs or enhancement requests, and collaborating closely with the development team to drive improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of IT systems from an end-user and business process perspective.
  • Confident working in a Windows and Microsoft Office environment.
  • Curious, analytical and eager to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Experience of writing user documentation
  • A clear communicator who can work effectively with users, developers and infrastructure colleagues.
  • Calm under pressure, methodical in approach, and committed to accuracy and structure.
  • A true team player with a helpful and professional attitude.
