Junior Design Engineer

• Supporting updates to existing products to meet the latest regulations, including report writing, design changes, and documentation updates.
• Assisting in the design of new products with a focus on cost reduction, ease of manufacture, and compliance with standards.
• Creating and maintaining engineering drawings, bills of materials, and product documentation using SolidWorks and our ERP system.
• Managing product development and compliance documentation for assigned projects.
• Collaborating with design engineers and other departments to provide technical support.
• Presenting ideas and solutions to suppliers and customers when required.
• Supporting production teams with hands-on assistance and training.

• Experience with InDesign.

• Interest in mechanical assemblies and manufacturing processes (steel fabrication, plastic moulding is a plus).
• Willingness to be flexible with working hours to support production needs.
• Comfortable communicating technical information to various stakeholders.
