Job description
You will be supporting and enhancing our Workday HCM system to ensure the platform runs smoothly and supports business needs effectively.
What will I be doing?
As part of the Workday day team, you will be reporting into the Director of Systems (Workday), you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of HMC functional aspects of Workday, covering business processes, controls, data and reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the IS partner supporting HR areas in Workday, including HCM core, Absence, Recruitment and Payroll.
- Providing consultation to HR process leads, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis,
- Serving as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities,
- Creating, maintain and facilitate training and documentation on Workday HR areas.
- Maintaining master data values in Workday across areas of responsibility,
- Configuring test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday,
- Assisting in testing of integrations, security and recurring events such as Workday updates,
- Maintaining and update system configuration, such as absence plans and HCM business processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have experience supporting the Workday HCM system, along with a solid understanding of HR operations, data management, and reporting. They should be familiar with HR business processes, controls, and best practices, and possess strong proficiency in Workday report writing, including advanced use of the Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields, additionally you must demonstrate:
- A solid understanding of Workday security features and controls,
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills,
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities,
- The ability to prioritise workload and execute tasks independently,
- HR functional experience.
