Job description
As an IT Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the IT and communications sector. You'll play a key role in promoting Citytalk Group's suite of technology solutions - including cloud services, managed IT support, cybersecurity, and unified communications - to both new and existing clients.
You will work closely with technical teams and account managers to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth., * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets and existing client accounts.
- Develop a deep understanding of Citytalk Group's product and service portfolio, including IT, telecoms, cloud, and connectivity solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase value propositions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and tender responses.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (Technical, Marketing, and Operations) to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Lead generation?, * Proven experience in B2B IT sales or technology solution selling (e.g., managed services, telecoms, cloud, or cybersecurity).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into tailored technical solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Desirable:
- Experience selling to SMB and enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with products such as Microsoft 365, VoIP systems, or cybersecurity tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or Sales accreditations).
- Existing network of business contacts within the IT or telecoms industry., * Sales: 2 years (preferred)
