Job description
We are seeking a detail-driven Data Services Analyst to join an established team within the financial services sector. In this role, you will work with the data that underpins the effective operation of workplace pension schemes. You'll be part of a dedicated data services function responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality and usability of key administrative databases that support teams across the business., * Supporting the onboarding of new clients by preparing, formatting and loading bulk data sets into core administration systems
- Performing regular data maintenance, validation and quality checks in line with statutory requirements
- Maintaining and updating automated calculation and documentation tools to ensure smooth data flow across the organisation
- Producing scheduled and ad hoc data extracts, reports and statistics for use in internal projects
- Working closely with colleagues across the company, including actuarial, administration, and operational team, to support efficient data management and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong numerical skills and confidence in working with large data sets
- Have advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL and defined benefit (DB) pension schemes is advantageous
- Be comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
- Demonstrate logical thinking, precision and excellent attention to detail
