Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the growing UK division of a leading European renewable gas technology provider supporting biogas upgrading projects across the country.

You'll act as the technical bridge between engineering and commercial teams, helping shape compelling, accurate proposals that support new project wins in the biomethane and gas upgrading space.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing technical input into tenders and proposals for biogas upgrading systems
  • Reviewing client data and process flows to validate system sizing and performance
  • Preparing cost estimates, equipment specs, and proposal documentation
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the UK and Europe to develop client-ready materials
  • Supporting site surveys, client meetings, and technical clarifications
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather technical inputs
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of proposal templates, workflows, and internal tools, * Applications or proposals engineers in gas-to-grid, AD or CHP projects
  • Process engineers with exposure to gas upgrading or industrial gas systems
  • Technical professionals looking to move closer to the commercial front-end
  • Engineers from OEMs or EPCs in renewable gas, compression or clean energy

Requirements

  • A background in biogas, biomethane, gas handling or process industries
  • Confident interpreting P&IDs, process specs, and technical drawings
  • Comfortable working between engineering and commercial teams
  • Familiar with systems such as membrane separation, compression, or gas purification
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); AutoCAD or process simulation knowledge is a plus
  • Able to manage multiple proposals and deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communicator, written, verbal and cross-functional
  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering, If you're a technically capable engineer with an interest in renewable gas and a flair for commercial thinking we'd love to hear from you.
