Job description
- Provide prompt and effective technical support via email, phone, and ticketing systems.
- Investigate and diagnose issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely solutions to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organisation's software applications, including functionality, architecture, and integrations.
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Keep users and stakeholders informed throughout the resolution process and maintain accurate support documentation.
- Offer expert advice on emerging trends affecting service delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to escalate and prioritise bugs, feature requests, and product enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve support processes, tools, and systems.
- Review recurring issues and implement long-term fixes to prevent repeat problems.
- Respond to user support requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to high customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and guidance to help clients use the software effectively and maximise value.
- Ensure compliance with data security and organisational standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, with ITIL certification (preferred)
- Experience supporting MS SQL databases and C# .NET applications
- Proven background in application support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Strong understanding of SQL/MySQL databases, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and support/ticketing tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, independent, and collaborative environments.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and willingness to work outside core hours when required.
