What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and advocate for a clear product vision aligned with strategic objectives.
- Translate business goals into product outcomes and measurable OKRs.
- Prioritise features and enhancements based on value, feasibility, and impact.
Agile Product Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality increments.
- Accept or reject work outcomes based on acceptance criteria and user value.
- Arrange and facilitate ceremonies aligned to SAFe bet practice.
- Refine backlog creating to have a clear pipeline of work aligned to roadmap
- Define a clear definition of done / definition of ready for all user stories
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback loops to ensure continuous alignment.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to all levels of the organisation.
Data & Digital Enablement
- Leverage data to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Champion the use of data science, AI/ML, and visualisation to enhance product value.
Support data democratisation and contribute to Communities of Practice
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scrum?, Essential:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a digital/data environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to balance technical detail with strategic thinking.
- Experience in delivering and driving customer desired value and outcomes
- Highly organised in maintaining and prioritising a product backlog with a clear pipeline for dev squads
Desirable:
- Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Snowflake, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to data engineering, data science, or AI/ML concepts.
Benefits & conditions
A competitive salary between £55,000 - £69,000 dependent on capability
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
