Job description
responsible for producing and maintaining detailed project programmes for all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities across multiple projects. This role ensures that works are accurately sequenced, properly resourced, and fully coordinated with design, procurement and site operations., Create fully integrated MEP construction programmes using Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or MS Project Break down engineering packages into manageable activities with logical sequencing and dependencies Develop procurement schedules aligned with the master programme Incorporate design and drawing release timelines into programme Ensure MEP sequencing aligns with architectural, structural and specialist contractor activities Attend weekly progress and coordination meetings Monitor actual site progress against planned timelines Update programmes with real-time data and issue weekly/monthly reports Identify delays, risks and opportunities early and provide mitigation strategies Produce S-curve reports, manpower histograms and productivity tracking where required
Requirements
Experience in MEP programming within construction or building services Proficiency in one or more: Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project Ability to analyse drawings, schedules and specifications Excellent communication and reporting skills Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Proven experience in a programming/planning role within the MEP industry Desirable Experience with BIM / 4D planning or Navisworks Understanding of commercial impacts of programme changes (delays, variations) CSCS card or relevant site-safety certification.
Qualifications Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering (preferred)
