Job description

Following a major restructure the Company requires a dynamic and experienced Senior Change Manager to drive transformation and to support the coordination of projects maintaining alignment between strategy and execution along with supporting continued operational excellence. As a Change Manager, you'll take ownership of developing and delivering change strategies across high-impact initiatives. You'll be responsible for defining change management approaches, assessing change impacts, engaging stakeholders, and managing resistance - all while ensuring the success of key transformation projects. You will be accountable for planning, execution and completion of projects according to requirements, deadlines and budget.

We're looking for someone who's not only methodical but also innovative - someone who can adapt and tailor change delivery approaches to meet evolving challenges. Transparency and involvement of relevant stakeholders throughout the full project life cycle is critical to success. A hands-on mindset and a sharp eye for detail are essential to thrive in this role.

  • Strategic Programme Oversight & PMO Leadership
  • Lead the change management approach across the project, aligning with other WCG initiatives, proactively resolving any issues.
  • Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Embed, scale and execute the change management strategy.
  • Oversee project lifecycle management including planning, resourcing, financial tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to plans and schedules.
  • Manage enterprise-wide reporting processes, developing dashboards, KPIs, deliverables.
  • Align programme outcomes with strategic business goals across the Group.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leaders on project status, risks, and benefits
  • Change & Transformation Delivery
  • Lead the change management approach.
  • Shape and deliver complex transformation initiatives-such as Operations migration, new TOM implementations etc.
  • Assess change impacts, manage resistance, and enable adoption of new systems/processes.
  • Coordinate communications, training, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement
  • Build relationships and collaborate closely with Senior Managers and business leaders; serve as a trusted partner to main stakeholders, providing strategic advice and regular programme updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority, building alignment across regional business units.
  • Lead, coach and support PMO/change team members.
  • Motivate teams to meet project goals; resolve conflicts and foster a productive team environment.
  • Risk, Issue & Quality Management
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).
  • Ensure robust governance
  • Ensure high-quality project delivery through continuous monitoring, QA, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in PMO, project, and change management roles, including leading transformation in M&A, investment management, or other FCA-regulated companies.
  • Demonstrated success managing and delivering complex transformation projects.
  • Experience leading PMO functions and setting up governance frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong expertise in Agile methodology.
  • Proven track record in delivering business change, operating model transformation, and technology-driven projects.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and benefit tracking.
  • Proficient with project management tools and collaboration platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, PROSCI) are highly desirable.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
