ACT is seeking an influential and visionary Head of Digital & Transformation to lead our organisation into its next phase of digital excellence. This strategic leadership role is central to shaping ACT's future-driving innovation, strengthening digital capability, and ensuring our systems, services, and people are fully supported to thrive in a digital-first environment.

As a senior leader, you will set and deliver ACT's digital strategy, spearheading transformation initiatives that enhance the learner experience, improve organisational efficiency, and embed a culture of innovation. You will explore emerging technologies, lead major change programmes, and work closely with the Executive Board, senior leaders, and external partners to deliver meaningful impact across ACT and the wider sector.

What you will do:

You will lead ACT's transformation into a digital-first organisation, guiding the selection, implementation, and adoption of digital systems and tools that improve learning, streamline operations, and foster innovation., * Develop and own the digital strategy and transformation roadmap.

Lead digital modernisation projects, ensuring systems are inclusive, secure, and effective.
Implement cloud, AI, and automation solutions that improve efficiency and learner support.
Integrate information governance and cybersecurity into all digital developments.
Oversee transformation budgets, ensuring value for money and measurable outcomes.
Engage stakeholders at all levels, building strong buy-in and driving organisation-wide adoption.
Champion innovation, mentoring teams and strengthening ACT's digital capability.
Represent ACT as a digital ambassador across the sector and at external events.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Leadership?, An inspiring, forward-thinking leader with a strong track record in digital transformation. You will be confident shaping strategy, leading complex change, and driving modernisation across an organisation., * Experience delivering digital transformation strategies at scale.

Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data-driven solutions, and emerging tech (e.g. AI, automation).
Proven ability to lead organisational change and influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Experience governing complex transformation programmes with strong risk management.
Commercial acumen, with experience managing digital budgets and suppliers.
Strong people leadership skills, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
Relevant professional qualifications in project/change management (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, Prosci, APM).
Knowledge of information governance, data protection, and cybersecurity best practice.
