Job description

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional candidate to contribute to the delivery of an effective ICT support service, under the guidance of the Strategic Lead for Whole School ICT. The candidate should be committed to increasing standards through modern and innovative use of ICT.

Contract: 37 hours, permanent contract, term time only + 10 days

Start date: January 2026

Salary: Grade 4 pt 4-6 (£24,404-£25,183) pro rata

Closing date: 12 noon, Friday 5 December 2025

Experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of ICT technical support
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Software (Windows/Office)
  • An understanding of Office 365
  • Experience of being able to prioritise and organise work
  • Ability to create and manage and maintain effective working relationships with pupils, staff, visitors and IT suppliers
  • Experience of working in a 'helpdesk' environment
  • Experience of working in a school or academy environment

Qualifications/Training

  • GCSE English and Maths to grade C or above or equivalent qualification
  • Commitment to professional development
  • ICT qualification
