Job description

As the IT Manager, you will oversee the company's IT operations, infrastructure, and support functions, ensuring systems and technologies are reliable, secure, and aligned with business goals. This hands-on leadership role requires a balance of technical expertise, project management, and team coordination to deliver efficient and effective IT services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the IT department, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.

Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and cloud services.

Ensure IT systems are secure, compliant, and performing optimally.

Plan and execute IT projects, upgrades, and process improvements.

Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

Oversee IT budgets, procurement, and asset management.

Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Collaborate with senior management to develop and deliver the company's IT strategy.

Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in IT management or a senior IT operations role.

Strong technical knowledge of networking, system administration, and cybersecurity.

Experience with Microsoft 365, cloud computing (Azure/AWS), and virtualization technologies.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

Desirable

ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.

Knowledge of automation, DevOps tools, and modern IT frameworks.

Experience implementing or managing enterprise-level systems and applications.
